master file for all/specific folders

I'm wondering, if it's possible to assign a master file to a folder of my choice. For example, I'm creating a new folder and want to copy or reference an already existing file into this folder.
Is this possible?

No, it is not possible now. And i think it is not interesting to realize this feature for dms, because it is not main process of system and it will be rarely used.
